2026 Spring Session - High School

Registration is now open for the 2026 Spring Session. The SJWPF High School program serves 18&U and 16&U age groups. This program is designed for experienced athletes looking to compete in national level competitions. Please go to the "REGISTER" page for online registration.

TRAINING INFO: The Spring Session will begin Wednesday February 11 and end Sunday April 19. We will train Wednesday and Friday evenings from 530-730pm at Bellarmine College Prep. Depending on program numbers we may add an additional practice group at Archbishop Mitty at a similar time. There will be no practices on the following dates: Friday April 3rd.

COMPETITION INFO: 

Futures League (18&U and 16&U “A”): 2/22, 3/1, 3/22, 4/19, and 5/17. All dates should be in the greater Bay Area.

We will also be entering additional 16&U teams in local BAWPL. Those dates are 3/8 and 3/29.

PRICING INFO: Cost for the Spring Session will be $875. This includes all practices, local league games, equipment, and coaching costs.

2025-26 Winter Session - High School

Registration is now open for the 2025-26 Winter Session. The SJWPF High School program serves 18&U and 16&U age groups. This program is designed for new and experienced athletes looking to compete in local and national level competitions. Please go to the "REGISTER" page for online registration.

TRAINING INFO: Training begins Monday December 1 and ends Sunday Feb 1. Practices will take place from 4-6pm on Mondays/Wednesdays at Bellarmine College Prep. Depending on program numbers we may add a 2nd location on Mondays/Wednesdays at similar timing. There will be no practices from Mon Dec 22 to Sun Jan 4 (Christmas/NYE Break) or Mon Jan 19 (MLK Holiday).

COMPETITION INFO: 

16&U “B” and “C” teams will participate in the Bay Area Water Polo League. Those competition dates are 12/7, 1/11, and 1/17. All games are played locally.

18&U “A” and 16&U “A” athletes will compete in the Futures League. The first round of Futures League is 1/18. These two teams will also play in some local scrimmages on dates TBD prior to the first Futures League dates. Futures League games are played anywhere in the greater Bay Area.

All Futures League dates beyond 1/19 will occur during the Spring Session. Those dates are 2/22, 3/1, 3/22, 4/19, and 5/3.

PRICING INFO: Cost for the Winter Session will be $750. This includes all practices, local league games, equipment, and coaching costs. Travel tournaments will be paid for separately.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Athletes must have current membership with USA Water Polo through the year 2026 and affiliated with San Jose WPF as a Silver or Gold Level athlete (club #30505). To participate in JO Quals or JO’s in the summer you must have a Gold Level membership.

2025 Summer Session - High School

Registration is now open for the 2025 Summer Session. The SJWPF High School program serves 18&U and 16&U age groups. This program is designed for experienced athletes looking to compete in national level tournaments. Please go to the "REGISTER" page for online registration.

Cost for the Summer Session is $975. This includes all practices, local tournaments, league games, pool/equipment fees, and coaching costs. Futures Superfinals and Junior Olympics will require an additional participation fee.

TRAINING INFO: The Summer Session will begin Monday May 5th and end Tuesday July 22nd. 

The Pre-Summer training schedule will be from May 5th to the 23rd. Practices will take place on Mon/Wed/Fri at Bellarmine, Archbishop Mitty, or Santa Clara University. All practices will be a 2 hour block between 4-7pm. Times and locations are posted HERE. Practice groups will be released once we are closer to the start of the session.

The Regular Summer training schedule will begin Tuesday May 27th. Practices will take place 3-4x per week between Monday-Thursday at Bellarmine, Archbishop Mitty, or Santa Clara University. All practices will be 4-6pm. Times and locations are posted HERE. Practice groups will be released once we are closer to the start of the session.

There will be no practices or competitions from May 24th to May 26th (Memorial Day) or July 3rd to 7th (4th of July Holiday). Athletes will be expected back at practice on May 27th and July 8th.

TEAM SELECTION: Athletes will be evaluated during practices in May and chosen for a competition team. We anticipate three 16&U teams and one 18&U team. Evaluation will be based on playing ability, availability, and team composition.

July 19-22 - Junior Olympics (Orange County) - Qualified Teams
