San Jose Water Polo Foundation will be holding an Intro to Water Polo camp for ages 8-12 from Mon June 29 to Th July 2nd at the Bellarmine College Prep pool. Camp will run from 2-3:45pm each day.
Campers will be taught some of the basics strokes/movements needed for water polo, eggbeater kick, basic throwing instruction, and play some games to build a love for the sport!
Campers must be able to swim at least one lap (25 yards) unassisted without touching the bottom to participate.
Campers should come prepared with a swim suit (speedo or brief style suit preferred), goggles, towel, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
Cost for the camp is $200. Payment may be made by check (to San Jose WPF), cash, or Venmo (@SanJoseWPF) by the start of the first practice. Camp must have a minimum of 5 athletes to run successfully. If registrations are less than 5 athletes we will cancel and refund any payments fully.
